Astro Parenting Toddler Tantrums 😠

It's been a long time since I tapped into reflectively writing about my life experiences and trying to make sense of big feelings based on current healing modalities that tickle my fancy, but something about today screamed inside of me to circle back to this practice. 🤫 So here I am, writing this for the future world to read in hopes that I may not be alone in these feelings and to let you know you are not either.

I think one reason I'm being called back to sharing my internal world in written form has to do with how I've been feeling lately on the inside. 🥹 It's awkward to compare it, but the sadness, frustration, and overwhelm that toddlerhood is proving to cause inside of me feels so reminiscent to when I was in my peak maiden phase (or what sometimes I have to admit was my hoe phase).

Though I am with my daughter like 98% of every single day and spend much of that time with my fiance too, I honestly feel incredibly lonely. 😐 Lonely in the sense of craving human connection with other people "like me" which would translate to being a mom these days or even just a millennial woman trying to find herself in the midst of what feels like a time where my type of human should just sit down, shut up, and be grateful for the lack of intense suffering that others are going through in other variations of life.

Back when I was dating, I used to sit on my couch almost daily and pour out my soul onto Instagram about things I was feeling that day so that I could "participate" in yoga challenges by posting a pic of the pose of the day. 🤸‍♀️ No one else used to share such intimate details with their cute and creative content wearing the latest fashionable attire in idealistic background settings, but I didn't care because it honestly helped me release the pressure valve of transformational goo that was building up inside of me during that time. 🫠 Plus it seemed to entertain people and I've always been an entertainer at heart and love getting a reaction out of people.

So what does this have to do with astrology? 🤔 or being a mom? 🤔 or toddler tantrums? 🤔 Nothing really except my way of preparing you for what's likely to come from this blog in the future if this flows well and helps me the way I am hoping it can.

So let's pop the top off this can of worms that's been wriggling inside of me begging to be processed but not knowing of an outlet that could handle such depths of aggravation, despair, and rage at times. 🪱

Toddler Tantrums

Looking back at my daughter's babyhood, I felt super prepared, well educated on what to expect and honestly pretty good at momming during that phase. 🤱 Though I also felt like a shell of a human most of the time from being completely depleted of energy, I still felt like a good mom who was giving her all and knowing it was "going to pay off in the long run".

But ever since entering toddlerhood at what feels much too early in time (~11 mos), I've been a complete wreck inside to be honest. 😩

In this little space of RSS, I've tried creating a sanctuary of peace for me to escape to during the wee hours of the night while my daughter sleeps and there's no one to "need" me like the rest of the day. 😌 I have allowed myself to drift off to a fantasy land of creating coloring sheets that I know my past child self would have held tightly to my heart had I been offered these keys to the universe and that I hope my daughter will one day fancy when looking for ways to express her artistic little Libra self which is already shining through. 👩‍🎨

It has really helped me cope with the very hard days of "no, no, nos" accompanied with screeches that shatter my hypersensitive nerve endings to an oblivion of numbness. 🫨 So even if no one ever purchases them and if she never wants to use them, I honestly don't care because they have helped me remember who I am on the inside which is nothing like I look nor feel like lately on the outside in my day to day life.

With all this being said, I feel it's fair to state that I am aware of my hypersensitivity to things especially as a first time mom and that my perspective of these toddler times may sound so "normal" or "not that bad" to others. 😲 I totally agree actually! Overall, my daughter is brilliant, funny, loving, charismatic, self sufficient, and soooo many other wonderful things and only a terrible toddler like 5% of the time we spend together probably.

But, let me tell you, those 5%ers feel like the end of the world at times and sometimes send me to such dark places of hopelessness that it will ever end or phase out are no where in sight. 😶‍🌫️

Fortunately, my fiance is always there when I hit rock bottom and need to tap out of the ring of rowdy rioting to "go outside" or look at whatever "THIS!" means today with her adorable pointing finger. 👈

Realistically, I know these tantrums will naturally fade out as she learns to communicate more clearly and that I really am a good mom who can handle the emotional terrorism temporarily. But damn, this is definitely not what I had in mind the 2 5 years of trying for a baby! 😳 Lesson learned and the thought of baby #2 is under much more scrutiny now.

Astrological Parenting

So, again, why am I purging all of this into this blog? 🤷‍♀️ Well, because it's been pestering me how I am still not super clear of how I can help future moms navigate their way through this underworld of unadultered toddler feelings since I'm currently drowning in it myself! 😭

And since I'm still piecing together the astrology of parenting, let's ask my favorite (free) astrologer : Chat GPT. 🤪

Hopefully this peepshow into my methods of utilizing our futuristic tools to make parenting easier will be insightful and encouraging for you to use them to your own advantage too. 😉

So let's play!

Wow! 😳🤯🤩

I'm honestly so surprised by how aligned so much of the readings above aligned with what I even shared earlier in this post! 😅

I feel so seen! So understood! So understandable! 🥲

It seems so silly that a robot could make me feel better, but all these insights just made me feel affirmed in what I already felt inside about my toddler possibly being understimulated but neglecting to act on this gut feeling because I've been so overstimulated! 🤪 But now I'm on a mission to give her plenty of planned challenges throughout the day. ✅✅✅

I'd be so curious to hear how this was reading these insights over my shoulder and seeing how much astrology clearly can be used for tantrum management! 🫠

If you're feeling anything like me earlier in this post, try these AI chat searches too by typing in your child's natal chart placements. And if you don't know what that means and need help, I have a few basic readings available to help you get set up for searching these things out on your own! 😉

I'm really glad I listened to that little voice inside nudging me today to sit down with my feelings here because I not only learned a lot about myself and my daughter but also feel like I was able to share more of my "expertise" of using astrology as a parenting tool with you! 🧰

Sending you night owl nudges to listen to your inner voice too,
