Abridged Transcript Summary

Hello, Mystic Mamas. Today, I'll share a story about an essential oil blend called Sacred Angel. This blend isn't frequently sold. You might find it at events, in buy-sell-trade groups, or occasionally online. This isn't a sales pitch; it's a personal story worth sharing.

⚠️ TRIGGER WARNING

I'll discuss the emotional experience of putting my cat to sleep, so if that's sensitive for you, proceed with caution.

I've had my cat, Dante, since he was nine months old. At the time of his passing, I thought he was 13, but looking back at pictures, he might have been 14. As I share this story, please excuse any background music; my toddler enjoys it. Balancing silence with a toddler who loves music can be challenging!

Let's talk about Sacred Angel.

Sacred Angel has been with me for a while. As we prepared to say goodbye to Dante, we wanted to ensure he had a peaceful experience. I looked up what oil is typically used in such circumstances. I used the Abundant Health Essential Oil Reference Guide app. There were a few options, but I chose Sacred Angel. My fiance suggested it intuitively, which I appreciated.

We've been teaching our daughter some tasks. On this particular day, we tried having her bring something to me for Dante. However, toddlers being toddlers, she changed her mind midway. Rather than deal with a potential meltdown, I decided to apply the oil myself. Unexpectedly, the top of the bottle got stuck, causing a large amount to spill onto my hands. This was more than I intended, but I felt it was right to use it generously on Dante.

Dante's arrival in my life had its own dramatic flair. One summer day in Florida, a battered cat appeared at my third-floor apartment. Sun-singed fur, missing patches, and scars adorned him. I named him Dante after the fiery themes reminiscent of Dante's Inferno.

Fast forward to using the Sacred Angel blend on him; I felt it was a fitting closure.

As Dante's health declined, I tried to prepare for his inevitable passing. He'd been throwing up frequently, and I realized he'd probably been ready longer than I wanted to admit. I took him to the vet, and we made his last moments as peaceful as possible. I provided him with intuitive bodywork, helping him transition with love and care.

The blend of Sacred Angel and the emotional experience became intertwined. I felt its sacredness and its deep resonance with Dante's departure. The act felt ritualistic, aligning with the winter solstice, a time of deep symbolism and reflection.

In the end, Dante's departure felt profound yet peaceful. While it's surreal not having him around, I find solace knowing he's at peace. And as I continue my spiritual journey, Dante's memory remains a guiding force, reminding me of life's deeper meanings and the bonds we form.

In essence, our pets teach us so much about life, love, and loss. Dante's journey was filled with challenges, but he was resilient until the end. I'm grateful for the time we had together, and while it's tough without him, I cherish the memories we shared.

Dante is in the otherworld now.

May his little kitty spirit soar through the depths of the dark night to a place of peace.
